The design team collaborated with the Benedictine Sisters of Florida on a Master Plan addressing their current and future needs. The chapel, offices, commercial kitchen, and main dining areas reside in the North building; private residence rooms are in the South building. The architecture’s contemporary organic style echoes the natural surroundings, using energy-efficient and hurricane-hardened technology. The pastoral location and rolling hills inspired the landscape design.
